Accreditation & Safety

Our credentials, our licensing, and the procedures that keep students safe — all in one place.

Accountability

Easy to find, easy to verify

Families should not have to dig through a handbook to learn how a school is accredited or how it handles a concern. Everything is on this page.

Teacher licensing

All BCA teachers for Kindergarten through 8th grade meet the licensing requirements to teach their respective grades per Florida Statute 1002.421(1)(h). Preschool teachers are licensed according to DCF standards.

Background screening

Faculty, staff, and volunteers who work with students are background screened before they are placed with children.

Published policies

Conduct expectations, discipline procedures, and safety protocols are published in the Student/Parent Handbook, available on the Parent Hub.

Accreditation

Accreditation & memberships

Belleview Christian Academy’s accreditation status, association memberships, and state scholarship participation are listed here so families can verify them at a glance.

Student Safety

Reporting a concern

If something is wrong, we would rather hear about it than not. Here is exactly who to contact.

Reporting child abuse

Florida law requires that any person who knows or suspects child abuse, abandonment, or neglect report it immediately. Reports may be made anonymously.

1-800-96-ABUSE

Reporting educator misconduct

Concerns about the conduct of a BCA employee should be reported to the Principal or Senior Pastor immediately, and to the Florida Department of Education, Office of Professional Practices Services.

Questions about any of this?

Call the office and ask. We would rather answer a hard question than leave a family wondering.
